Over 20 years ago, three Electrical Engineering students from Sorocaba School of Engineering began meeting regularly at the university’s Research Laboratory From this bond, not only did a strong and enduring friendship form, but so did the embryo of a company that has since become a powerhouse in Brazil’s vehicle transformation and adaptation sector: Flash Engenharia.
From humble beginnings filled with dreams, trials, and many successes, Flash Engenharia has emerged as one of the country’s largest adapters of special vehicles. Initially focused on manufacturing signaling equipment, the company began diversifying its portfolio in 2012 to include radio communication equipment distribution and adapting its first police patrol vehicles
In January 2022, on its 20th anniversary, Flash Engenharia saw 65% of its capital acquired by a group of investors. This investment fueled record growth and led to the creation of a new factory unit in Salto/SP in just eight months. Additional investments were made in talent acquisition, infrastructure, and cutting-edge technology, culminating in a merger with another renowned brand in the acoustic and visual signaling market, SAE.
Who would have thought that an ambitious dream could evolve into a major company that today impacts the lives of millions of Brazilians? Flash Engenharia now transforms vehicles for security, healthcare, and logistics, serving communities across the entire country.
